Step #1: Open Your Project in Flash ~

Open YOUR PROJECT in Flash

Step #2: New Folder ~

Create a New Folder - NOT A NEW LAYER …

Step #3: Then Create a New Layer ~

THEN create a New Layer.


Step #4: Drag the Layer ~

Drag that new layer INTO the Folder:

Step #5: Oval Tool ~

Get the Oval Tool which is behind the Rectangle Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (o) …

G… go to: Window > Color or hit the keyboard shortcut letters: Cmd(⌘)+Shift(⇧)+F9

… and set the stroke color to none =


Set your Fill Color to Green or whatever …

Step #6: Draw an Oval ~

Drag an Oval in the new layer …

Step #7: Make it Pointy ~

Switch to the Selection Tool selection tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (v) …

… hover over the edge of the shape until you see the cursor turns into this arrow

… then, hold the alt key down and drag.

Step #8: Linear Color ~

Go to: Window > Color or hit: Shift (⇧) + Cmd (⌘) + F9 shift key f9 and select Linear Gradient as the Color type …

Using the Paint Bucket you can fill the shape in many different ways.

Step #10: Copy and Paste the Shape ~

Make another New Layer and drag it inside the folder (if necessary) …

Right-Click the shape, copy it and paste it in the New Layer.

Get the Free Transform Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (Q) …

Step #11: Center Circle ~

Make another New Layer inside the folder.

Hold the Shift key and drag a new circle.

Holding Shift keeps the shape round.


Step #12: Center Circle Color ~

Go to: Window > Color or hit: Shift (⇧) + Cmd (⌘) + F9 shift key f9 and click on Fill Color

… and select Radial in the Fill Style.

… and change the color of the circle.

Step #13: Stem ~

Make a New Layer

Select the Brush Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (B) …

Change the color to black or brown or whatever and draw a stem.

Hit the keyboard shortcut: Cmd(⌘)+A to select everything and then hit f8(or Right-Click and select: ) and make a Movie Clip.
