Step #1: Draw HALF a Bottle in Illustrator ~

Get the Pen Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (p) …

  Turn the Stroke off and set the fill color to whatever you want.

  Draw half a bottle.

Step #2: 3D Revolve ~

Go to: Effect > 3D > Revolve and hit Preview …

Start with these options: -5, -26, and 3, and set 45 degrees for the Perspective, but try anything you want.

 

Step #3: The Cap ~

Draw a short line to create the Cap

 … then go to: Effect > 3D > Revolve and apply 3D to the cap, only this time, click on More Options more options and add New Light.

 Adjust the light options to get a shadow effect different than the bottle.

Step 4: Adjusting the Shape ~

Get the Direct Selection Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (a) …

Step 5: Funky Cow ~

  Start drawing an outline of a cow or any animal whose milk you'd be willing to drink.

Draw some funky looking hair above the face shape and add some big eyes.


Add details to the eyes: Eye color and a pupil. Repeat this with the second eye.


A good cow needs some horns, lips, nostrils and other details.


Step 6: Text ~

  Type some text, select your Font, Size and Colo r in the menu bar.


Step 7: Text ~

Group the head and Text shapes together by hitting the keyboard shortcut: Cmd(⌘)+G, open the Symbols Palette

… drag the grouped objects into the symbols palette and name the New Graphic.

Step 7: Bottle Shape Again ~

 Go back and select the milk bottle shape again with the Selection Tool

Step 8: Appearance Panel ~

  Open the Appearance panel …

… and Double-click 3D Revolve to edit.


Step #8: Map Art ~

 Click on Map Art

… and scroll through the layers until you find the biggest one.


Step 9: Choose your Symbol ~

  Choose the symbol you just made from the Symbol drop down box

select the art to be mapped

  … and try Shade Artwork too.

  This may take a couple of trys to get it placed in the correct position.

Adjust the position and size of the symbol for best effect.

Last Step: Save Your Project & Attach ~

Go to: File > Save as … and save it as an .ai document, attach it and keep working …
