Step #1: Open Photoshop ~

x If you're working on a project in Photoshop, open it and make a New Layer if necessary …

x OR- open a new blank document …


Step #2: Rectangle Tool ~

x Select the Rounded Rectangle Tool which is behind the Line Tool

x Set the Radius in the Menu bar - just try 25 or 50 for now …

x Select Shape Layers in the menu bar …

Step #3: Layer Styles ~

x Click on the fx and add a Layer Style to the rectangle …


x Try Drop Shadow first and adjust the settings:

x Add some Inner Shadow

x Add Stroke

x You may also add Gradient Overlay

x Try these settings if you like:

x Try any other Blending Options as you see fit.

x Go to: Filter > Artistic and apply a filter you think looks good.

x Experiment!


Step #4: Add Some Text ~

x Get the Text Tool

Step #4: Import to Flash ~

x If you are working on a Flash Project, import your work into Flash.

x Go to: File > Import > Import to Stage and import your .psd file.


Last Step: Save your Project & Attach ~
