Step #1: Open Your Project in Flash ~
✗ Open YOUR PROJECT in Flash …
… (Remember: all these tutorials are intended to be

Step #2: Select the Oval Tool ~
✗ Get the Oval Tool which is behind the Rectangle Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (o) …
Step #3: Stroke Color ~
✗ Go to: Window > Color or hit the keyboard shortcut letters: Cmd(⌘)+Shift(⇧)+F9 …
✗ … click on stroke
✗ … and set the stroke color to none =
Step #4: Fill Color ~
✗ Click on Fill Color …
✗ … and select Radial as the Fill Style.
Step #5: Set the Gradient Color ~
✗ Double-Click on the "" on the left and choose an orange color.
✗ Then do the right side of the gradient too.

Step #6: Make a Sphere
✗ Select the Oval Tool, hold Shift down and drag out a circle.
✗ Holding Shift keeps it perfectly round …
Step #7: Add Eyes ~
✗ Copy the image …
✗ … make another New Layer …
✗ … and paste.
Step #8: Free Transform Tool ~
✗ Then select the Free Transform Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (Q) …
✗ … and shrink the eyes to fit your circle.
Step #9: Trace Bitmap the Eyes ~
✗ Get the Selection Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (v) and select the image …
✗ … then go to: Modify > Bitmap > Trace Bitmap.
Step #10: Delete ~
✗ The great thing about Trace Bitmap is you can easily remove the areas you don't need by selecting them with the Selection Tool and hit Delete.
✗ Anything else, clean up with the Eraser Tool.
✗ Do the mouth and nose too!
Last Step: Save and View your work ~
✗ View your work by hitting the keyboard shortcut: Cmd(⌘)+Enter
✗ Save your work as - FIRST_NAME_LAST_NAME_PROJECT_NAME.fla]
