Step #1: Open PhotoShop ~

Scan your signature into Photoshop …

… get the Crop Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (c) …

… and crop your signature as tight as you can.


Step #2: Rotate the Image (if necessary) ~

IF NECESSARY, go to: Image > Image Rotation - Counter Clockwise or Clockwise - if necessary …


Step #3: Color Range ~

Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (m) …

… Right-Click, select Color Range and click in the white area ON THE IMAGE


When you press OK, notice how it selects everything that matches the color you selected like this:


Step #4: Delete the Selected Area ~

Hit Delete: backspace (or Backspace on a Windows keyboard) …

… and hit the keyboard shortcut: Cmd(⌘)+D to deselect the Marching Ants.

Step #5: Levels ~

Hit Cmd(⌘)+L or go to: Image > Adjustments > Levels and try different settings to get a good contrast of color.


Step #6: Bevel and Emboss ~

With the iris layer selected, click on the below the Layers Palette …

… select Bevel and Emboss.


Step #7: Save for Web ~

Go to: File > Save for Web … and save your document as a png-24.


Step #8: Go to Weebly OR your Index (home) Page ~

Open your Portfolio, either on http://www.weebly.com/ OR your index page for Web Design, find your content area and insert an image at the bottom of your professional statement:


Step #9: Publish ~

Hit the Publish button …

… and then click on your web address.


Step #10: Select the Link ~

Navigate to the exact page in your browser where your files and reflections are posted …

… copy the URL address of your page …

..

… and paste the address into your reply so when the link is clicked it goes directly to the page that contains your evidence.
