Step #1: Find 2 Photos ~

Open 2 pictures: 1 animal - 1 people - or whatever unholy combination you which to create in Photoshop.

Step #2: Side by Side ~

When you get them both open in Photoshop, go to: Window > Arrange > 2-up Vertical


Step #3: Lasso your Face ~

Get the Lasso Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (L) …

… lasso around your face.


Step #4: Move it!

Click the Move Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (v) …

… and combine the photos into one Photoshop document using the Move Tool .

Name your layers - animal and face!


Step #5: It's Too Big! ZOOM OUT ~

You may be saying: "My face is way too big (or small)! What do I do?"

First, you must Zoom Out by hitting the keyboard shortcut: Cmd - (minus)

Get the Zoom Tool by hitting the keyboard shortcut letter (z) …

… and click Zoom Out on the menu bar.

Then go to: Edit > Free Transform or hit the keyboard shortcut: Cmd(⌘)+T to shrink it down.

Grab the corners and squeeze your face down to make it fit.

NOTE: Holding the shift key down while adjusting the size keeps the image proportionally correct.

Hit Enter or click the in the upper right.


Step #6: Lower the Opacity ~

Lower the Opacity on the top layer by moving the slider bar …

… until you to see the background through your face.

 

Step #7: Warp ~

Hit the keyboard shortcut: Cmd(⌘)+T again …

… hold Cmd(⌘) cmd key down while dragging the corner of the box …

then Right-Click and select Warp

… and align your face with the animal.

Line up the eyes as your guide.

Raise the Opacity back up …


Step #8: The Eraser ~

Get the Eraser Tool or hit the keyboard shortcut letter (E) …

… pick a soft round brush …

… and begin erasing away the parts of your face you don't need.

Do a good Job! Blend your face with the background so it looks realistic.


Last Step: Save Your Project & Attach ~

Go to: File > Save for Web … and save it as a .jpg

Save it as a .jpg approximately 500 pixels wide

Save the file as YOUR NAME! so we know whose it is.
